Words fail me as to how much I love the scene in Heidelberg. You will never find such an amazing array of talented dancers.
As for Chris and Campbell, they are just fantastic, I've only ever learned this much in a weekend once before and that was the last time they taught in Heidelberg.

Thank you for a great weekend. I love the fact that everyone was so welcoming, and that Heidelberg is truly a friendly scene. I had so many lovely dances, with everyone approaching the dance in such a playful fun way. I hope to be back soon ;)

I was at the Blues-Papa in Heidelberg weekend in Jan 2011. What a fantastic weekend, amazing venues, music, vibe and people - who'd have thought only cool people would be into blues!
A massive well done and thanks to Lucky, Annette, Laura, and Kris for a truly memorable weekend. I only hope we can have something similar in Dublin soon! And I'll be returning to Heidelberg :)

The "Blues-Papa in Heidelberg"-workshop with Lucky finished with a big hug of everybody - saying, in words, a big Thank You to Lucky, Annette, Laura, and Kris! A very nice workshop by Lucky + Annette/Laura, fantastic parties with DJs Annette and Kris, and great organization. I still felt the Blues the whole day at work after the workshop, after 1.5h of sleep...

The weekend was inspiring, I didn't want to leave and now I've left I want to go back. Loved the fact we stopped dancing at 6am on the Monday morning... I loved the fantastic people I met there and the level of dancing was just outstanding. Chris and Campbell were truly wonderous teachers and I certainly left the workshop a better dancer than when I arrived.
Heidelberg dancers for the win.
The workshop should be a regular thing, at least twice a year!

The honest and soulful way the workshop was held really hooked me. I enjoyed the inspiring lessons so much.
The organisation and location was very nice.
Thanks for all the healthy food, drinks and cute decoration.
The dancing was a pleasure with every partner. Seeing some familiar faces from Switzerland and Freiburg created a friendly social vibe. People coming from California, England, Scotland, ... was amazing.
This must be love(!) because I feel like growing and coming home and I want to support you guys to grow and share.
I certainly will be there for the next workshop and I am confident others will be too.

After this workshop (August 2010) with Campbell & Chris I'm truly infected with the "Blues-virus". They are inspiring teachers with a great personality. Their humourous and warmhearted way of teaching created a very friendly even familiar atmosphere. It was a pleasure sharing their passion for bluesdancing with all of us.
To the organizers: Thank you for making it all possible. Your commitment and support was impressive and I felt completely contented. The parties were so much fun! I had the chance to dance with Campbell. She's a leader's dream come true, great connection and smooth following. Can't wait for the next workshop with Chris & Campbell!

The Aug-2010 workshop with Campbell and Chris was really marvelous. I never had a workshop where each single minute of the lessons has been both as valuable and enjoyable. I am actually quite sure that this workshop will substantially change my future interests in dancing towards the blues/fusion direction.

Also a huge "Thank You" to the organizers and DJs! Parties were really great, and the music was a very nice selection; diversified and always encouraging. Everything ran very smoothly, and the continuous supply of drinks and food was a great help.

Please do this again!!
